Scores of small pocket parks can be found in neighborhoods throughout the Summerlin master-planned community, according to Larry Brocato, an executive with the developer, The Howard Hughes Corp. "These miniparks not only help to meet the community's recreational needs, they serve as neighborhood gathering places for residents of all ages," Brocato said. Most of the pocket parks feature a lawn and many have benches or seating areas. "Neighborhood parks are part of the overall Summerlin park master plan, which, today, includes a total of 105 parks of all sizes."
