Aliante's development attracts buyers
After a year of searching, Chris and Jenny Davis found the home they were looking for at the new Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. "I was driving through this area one day and I noticed all of the development activity at Aliante," Chris Davis said. "The unique design of the (information) gallery was intriguing to me, so I decided to drive in and have a closer look. Based on what I saw, I knew I wanted Jenny to have a look as well." The couple visited the site the following day and purchased a home in KB Home's San Destin Tivoli, one of three neighborhoods the builder is developing within Aliante. "We found a beautiful two-story design that works perfectly for the three of us right now, and has the space we will need as our family grows," Jenny Davis said. Aliante's grand opening is set for May 3 and 4, with special activities scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Aliante is being developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. Encompassing more than 1,900 acres, the community is comprised of two villages, which will have as many as 7,500 homes upon completion. In addition to KB Home, builders in the primary village are D.R. Horton, Pulte Homes and Pardee Homes. Del Webb is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante village. To visit any of the presales centers, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Frontage Road, turn right and go to Interstate 215. Head east to Simmons Street and go south. Pardee is forming an interest list at its Eldorado Highlands development in North Las Vegas. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and go north. To visit Sun City Aliante, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Frontage Road, turn right and go to Interstate 215. Head east to Simmons Street and go north. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. About 22 percent of the community has been designated for recreational and public purposes, including an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, more than 20 miles of trails and a natural arroyo. In addition, there are plans for two elementary schools, a middle school, fire station and 100 acres of commercial development.
