-- CENTRA Properties appointed Frank R. Beck as senior vice president, development director. He is responsible for the conceptualization and management of developing office, retail, industrial and community properties. Previously, Beck was senior vice president, development director at The Howard Hughes Corp. CENTRA also appointed Christina DiBella as an administrative assistant to assist the property management team.

-- Southwest Engineering has been awarded a contract for Villages at Wineridge by Pageantry Development Corp. The project, Ford & Riley, includes engineering and surveying on 5 acres at the southeast corner of West Ford Avenue and Riley Street for a cost of $79,550.

-- Eagle Drilling Services appointed Jeffery Kaschak as an assistant driller. Previously, Kaschak was a machinist for Haysite Reinforced Plastics and Hazmat training.

-- Venture Development Group named Ashley Ziehm as a real estate coordinator. She coordinates all existing and new projects from construction to tenant occupancy. Previously, Ziehm was an executive administrator at Colliers International.

-- Geotechnical & Environmental Services has been awarded the contract by the State of Nevada Public Works Board to perform construction testing and observation for the expansion of the High Desert State Prison, located about 35 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The contract is worth $98,000.

-- Martin-Harris Construction has appointed Steven Lords as chief financial officer. Lords has an accounting and management background in the construction field.

-- Restrepo Consulting Group has named Dan Dellenbach as director of market analysis and project marketing. He is responsible for project feasibility analysis, market research, and economic and demographic analysis. Dellenbach also teaches business and management classes as an adjunct faculty member at Community College of Southern Nevada.

-- David Scherer, Barton Hyde and Kent Johns of Grubb and Ellis represented WXI/MCN Commercial Real Estate in the 65-month lease of 1,885 square feet at 1771 E. Flamingo Road., Suite 100A, to United Auto Credit Corp., represented by Mike Dunn of Cushman and Wakefield, for $199,668.

-- Harsch Investment Properties' Alma Llerenas represented the Speedway Commerce Center in the 36-month lease of 3,491 square feet at 6925 Speedway Blvd., Suite C-101, to the Las Vegas Speedracers for $200,000. Gabe Telles represented the Speedway in its five-year lease of 27,466 square feet at 6955 Speedway Blvd., Suite T-101, to Fisher Technical Services, represented by Pro Commercial Real Estate, for $627,000. Telles also represented the Speedway in the five-year lease of 2,533 square feet at 6885 Speedway Blvd., Suite Y-112, to Jeral Miller for $73,000. Brooklyn Hirschi represented The Spectrum of Las Vegas II in its five-year lease of 1,254 square feet at 3230 E. Charleston Blvd., Suite 117, to AARP for $60,000.

-- E.J. Paul Sweetland of Sweetland Industrial Realty represented Macady Mac in the sale of 4,336 square feet at 4336 E. Alexander Road to Lowell McGann, represented by Kyle Eigenman, for $310,000. Sweetland also represented Mark Anderson and Dino DeBerry in the 60-month lease of 4,898 square feet at 6425 Hinson St. to Life Guard Pools, represented by Mike Lyons of NAI Horizon, for $210,892. E. John Sweetland represented Henry Leonardi in the 26-month lease of 6,475 square feet at 6250 Banning Creek Drive to Granite World, represented by E.J. Paul Sweetland, for $125,452.

-- Gary Banner of Coldwell Banker ETN represented both parties in Union Properties' sale of a 70-unit apartment building at 118 S. 15th St. to Thomas Gearing for $1.9 million.

-- Lee & Associates' Charles Witters represented Rainbow-Russell Ventures & Nelson in the 63-month lease of 2,180 square feet at 6785 W. Russell Road to Ramos & Crowley Chiropractors, represented by Kathy Campbell of NAI Horizon, for $216,889.

-- Colliers International's Jason Paradis represented the H.P. Anderson Trust in its 42-month lease of 2,175 square feet at 6070 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 200, to Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation for $113,861.
