Couple purchase one-bedroom unit in second tower for children
Bill and Marcia Lysaght purchased a condominium at The Residences at MGM Grand based on the reputation of the Turnberry Associates and MGM Grand partnership.
"MGM Grand has a stellar reputation and Turnberry has a 40-year history in the real estate industry," said Marcia Lysaght, a nurse at a hospital in Southern California. "Because of the quality product being offered and the confidence we have in the developers, we purchased a one-bedroom residence at The Residences."

The project will comprise 1,727 units in three 40-story towers on the northeast end of the resort's 116-acre property on the Strip.
"We actually regret not purchasing the studio unit as well," said Bill Lysaght, chief financial officer for a hospital in Southern California. "We have had condominiums before and enjoy having a low-maintenance vacation home that we can visit from time to time."
With six children ages 19 to 26, Bill Lysaght said the unit could be quite busy.
"One of my children lives in Las Vegas and the others plan to visit frequently," he said.
The Lysaghts purchased a residence on the ninth floor of the second tower, which will be completed at year's end.
Each tower will feature 24-hour front desk and concierge services, in-suite dining and a guarded entrance. Also on-site will be fitness centers and swimming pools. Residents also have access to the amenities of the resort.
Studio, one- and two-bedroom residences are available in the third tower. The first two towers are under construction, with completion on the first scheduled for May. Prices start from the $600,000s to more than $2.5 million.
Highlights include crown moldings, raised-panel doors and high-speed voice/data connectivity.
Other amenities include granite counter tops and Snaidero kitchen cabinetry.
The sales office features a model of a two-bedroom residence. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in MGM Grand's Studio Walk.
