Golf course central to Stallion Mountain

     Pulte Homes offers country club living at Stallion Mountain, which features the valley's only 54-hole golf course facility, according to Tom Callahan, vice president of sales and marketing for the builder.
      "Home buyers are attracted to the atmosphere and beauty of the golf course community surrounding the homes at Stallion Mountain," Callahan said. "Homes at The Greens rival the most prestigious golf course residences in the valley."
      The Greens, one of three neighborhoods within the gate-guarded community, features four floor plans that range from 2,300 to 2,881 square feet. Three of the plans include a three-car garage. The single-story homes are priced from $203,990.
      Interior features include 10-foot ceilings, high-tech wiring, custom entry doors, fireplaces and media niches.
      The kitchens offer cabinets with concealed hinges and adjustable shelves, built-in self-cleaning ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, and solid-surface counter tops.
      Additional highlights include front-yard landscaping, covered patios, front porches and/or courtyards (per plan), stucco eaves, and carbon-monoxide detectors.
      All of the homes are built to Engineered for Life specifications, which allows the homes to use 30 percent less energy for heating, cooling and water heating than a standard home.
      The builder also offers solar water-heating systems at all of its neighborhoods in the community.
      Many of the home sites are situated on cul-de-sacs or adjacent to a golf course.
      To visit, take Interstate 515 to Flamingo Road, go east past Boulder Highway, then turn left into the community. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at noon.
      Also located at Stallion Mountain are The Links and The Fairways.
      The Links features four single-story floor plans, ranging from 1,190 to 1,619 square feet, with prices starting from $123,990. The Links offers maintenance-free front-yard landscaping, a recreation center, and a park with gazebo and barbecues.
      The Fairways has four floor plans ranging from 1,531 to 2,300 square feet with the base price starting at $155,990. These single-story homes offer three or four bedrooms, great rooms, dining nooks, den/dining/recreation room options, and two-car garages.
