Canyon Willow provides free tax preparation

     An income tax preparation promotion is being featured at the Canyon Willow Tropicana condominium complex in the southeastern valley.
      "Anyone who visits Canyon Willow Tropicana through April 11 can have their income taxes prepared for free by our on-site, professional tax preparer. This promotion applies to individuals filing either a 1040A or 1040EZ return and there is absolutely no fee for the service," sales agent Ron Filipovic said.
      "Our tax professional will prepare two tax returns in two separate ways. The first return will reflect any balance or refund due to the individual as a renter. Then, the tax preparer will demonstrate what those figures would be if the person owned a home at Canyon Willow Tropicana. We think prospective buyers will be very pleasantly surprised when they see the huge difference that owning a home at Canyon Willow Tropicana will make."
      Appointments may be made by contacting the sales office. Consultations are offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily except Wednesdays.
      The gated complex, built by Canyon Willow Builders, offers floor plans measuring from 695 to 1,228 square feet, ranging from a one-bedroom, one-bath plan to a home with as many as three bedrooms and two baths.
      Prices range from the high $60,000s to low $100,000s. Qualified buyers may have a total move-in cost of $854 and total monthly payments of $789 for a two-bedroom, two-bath home. Thirty-day move-ins are available.
      Each condo includes a refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, gas range, washer, dryer, window coverings, and patio or balcony.
      Homes feature ceramic-tile entries, prewiring for ceiling fans, cultured-marble counter tops in baths, and owner baths with tubs and vanities.
      Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, spa, clubhouse and exercise room.
      To visit, take Tropicana Avenue east past Boulder Highway, then follow the signs. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
