Sales of first homes reported at Lynbrook
Sales agents at Lynbrook have reported brisk sales during the community's pre-opening phase in the northwestern valley.
Beazer Homes, the first builder to open model homes in the 275-acre planned community, offers homes ranging from 1,343 to 2,479 square feet and priced from $127,000 to $162,000.
Home buyers Bill and Zandy Carnes liked the neighborhood's design and setting.
"We looked at models all over town and kept comparing them to the model we saw at Cedar Grove, so we decided to buy the Beazer home," Bill Carnes said. "This is our dream home. We're very excited about being part of the opening phase of what promises to be a great community.
"The scenic mountain views and the landscaping are two of Lynbrook's most appealing features. Cedar Grove gave us a country-living feel, but we have the conveniences of living in the city."
The community will comprise 1,200 homes in 10 neighborhoods being developed by different builders.
Model homes are also open at Southwest Homes' Pebblecreek neighborhood. Homes range from 1,560 to 3,100 square feet and are priced from the mid-$130,000s.
Other builders include Pulte Homes, American Premiere Homes, Desert Wind Homes, Kimball Hill Homes and Developers of Nevada. Home sites range from 4,500 to 20,000 square feet.
Twenty-six half-acre custom-home sites are available at the Estates at Lynbrook. Lots are priced from the high $70,000s.
Community amenities include several water elements, walking paths and four parks.
To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, then go north about four miles to Severance Lane. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
