Venezuelan sisters double up in Coventry's Weston

Sisters Candice Rondon and Sandra Severino had their weddings on the same day in August 1991 when they both lived in Venezuela. Now they're both purchasing the same four-bedroom, 2,558-square-foot Princeton floor plan next door to one another at Coventry Homes' Weston neighborhood.
The neighborhood is located within the 5,000-acre Anthem master plan in Henderson.
"The location is beautiful," Rondon said. "The Weston homes are very spacious, and the kitchen is wonderful. I'm planning to have three suites with three baths."
Rondon, a real estate agent, purchased her home with her husband, Juan Carlos. She said the neighborhood stood out from the other ones she has seen in her career.
"We really like Henderson," she said. "And taking into consideration that Del Webb is the builder and Anthem is the location, the decision was easy for us.
"The entry is beautiful, and it will really feel good coming home. And when you come from another country, it's nice being able to live so close to your family."
Severino and her husband, Cesar Brito, praised the retreat and balcony that are part of the owner suite.
"I'm very excited," Severino said. "This is the first home for both of us, and we like the fact that the home is so spacious. Since it has so many windows, you have a real good feeling when you're inside. It's very airy."
The Princeton floor plan also features a dual staircase, a home office, 3 1/2 baths and a two-car garage.
Four floor plans are priced from the $190,000s to more than $200,000.
Other floor plans include the Oxford, a single-story home with three bedrooms, a den, two baths and a split three-car garage in 2,034 square feet; the Harvard, a two-story, 2,737-square-foot home with four bedrooms, a den and 2 1/2 baths; and the Cambridge, a single-story home with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a three-car garage in 2,415 square feet.
Standard features include brick and stone exterior detailing, built-in appliances including microwave ovens, phone and cable access in all rooms, and garage service doors.
To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past Lake Mead Drive. Models are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
