Red Rock Country Club hosts fashion show

A local department store recently presented an informal fashion show at Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin. The invited guests were treated to hors d'oeuvres, wine and a variety of desserts in three Palo Verde and Ocotillo collection model homes.

"The vibrant colors and timeless styling of (the) collection blended beautifully with the model homes at Red Rock Country Club," Sue Brandt, director of marketing, said. "The model homes were designed to reflect Red Rock Country Club's golf and resort lifestyle, and the clothing displayed wonderfully in our elegantly appointed homes."

Guests mingled with the models and also wandered through the model-home complex, which features 13 homes in a park-like atmosphere with brick streets and landscaping.

Priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million, the single- and two-story designs offer as many as six bedrooms and a four-car garage. Floor plans range from 2,100 to more than 8,000 square feet. When complete, many of the community's 1,100 homes will align one of two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses.

Architectural styles include Spanish Colonial, Italianate and desert contemporary.

Professional designers are available to assist buyers in their selection of options including casitas, courtyard fireplaces, sit-down wet bars, and owner bedroom retreats with media niches and fireplaces.

The Sunsation Program is available to assist buyers in building a customized home.

Recreational amenities are available for all interests and ages, ranging from golf to swimming to tennis.

The guard-gated community offers a golf practice facility with a double-ended driving range, a putting green and chipping areas. The main clubhouse features a pro shop, banquet facilities, a board room and two dining rooms.

The sports club houses health and fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised play area.

Several pools are available at the aquatic center, including a family pool, spa, adults-only pool, lap pool and splash-and-spray mini-park. An outdoor grill is also available.

The tennis facility features nine hard-surface courts, including a stadium court and five lighted courts.

To tour the model homes, take Sahara Avenue west past Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and turn left. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing the age-qualified community of Siena in Summerlin.
