Guard-gated entries standard at Christopher Homes neighborhoods

Christopher Homes pays attention to detail when designing the gated and landscaped entries of its neighborhoods, according to marketing executive Erika Geiser.

"At Christopher Homes, careful attention is given to every aspect of each residential design and equal attention is given to the overall appearance of the neighborhood. This begins with the luxury of a grand, guard-gated entry to create an immediate sense of arrival and foster the sense of living in a truly exclusive enclave of luxury homes," Geiser said.

"Upscale home buyers choose Christopher Homes for many reasons, but they all tend to agree that the guard-gated entry rated among the top reasons why they initially considered buying a home in one of our neighborhoods. In addition to enhancing privacy and a sense of security, the guard gates also reduce unnecessary traffic and promote safer streets. Upon driving through the entry to any Christopher Home neighborhood, it becomes very apparent that the neighborhood is designed to match the outstanding quality of the homes."

The builder is developing five neighborhoods in the valley, all offering a variety of views.

The Christopher Collection features 98 homes along The Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley. Sixteen floor plans are available, ranging from about 3,000 to 6,200 square feet and priced from the mid-$400,000s to more than $1 million. The home sites average about one-quarter acre. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Drive and go west, following the signs.

Bellacere is a guard-gated neighborhood aligning the fairways of the TPC at The Canyons golf course in Summerlin. Designed for custom homes valued from about $650,000 to more than $3 million, the home sites measure about one-half acre. The neighborhood is highlighted by entry monuments, a neighborhood park, tennis court, play area and landscaped areas. To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive, head south to Alta Drive, then go east.

Along the same golf course is the guard-gated Palisades, which is in its closeout phase. The neighborhood offers home sites ranging from about one-quarter acre to one-half acre. Five one- and two-story floor plans measure from 3,758 to 6,200 square feet. Prices start from $446,900. To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive, go south and proceed to Hualapai Way, following the signs.

Vineyards is a guard-gated enclave of one- and two-story homes being built on one-quarter acre to one-third acre terraced home sites in The Arbors village in Summerlin. Four floor plans range from 3,072 to 5,000 square feet and are priced from the high $300,000s. The neighborhood can be reached by taking Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive and going south. Turn west on Hualapai Way and head to Laurelglen Drive.

Also in its final phase is San Michelle, which is being built in the guard-gated Queensridge North community along the fairways of the Badlands Golf Club. Priced from the high $500,000s, the neighborhood offers one- and two-story designs ranging from 3,474 to 5,200 square feet on home sites measuring from one-quarter acre to one-half acre. To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Rampart Boulevard, go south to Alta Drive and then west to the entrance.

All of the builder's sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
